Ingredients

Ingredients

2 lbs Ground Beef
2 tsp Butter
1 Large Onion
3 Cloves Garlic
1 Red Pepper
1 Green Pepper
1 can Mushrooms (or use fresh)
2 stems Celery
2 cans Kidney Beans
1 can Tomato Paste
3 cups Tomato Sauce (1 large jar)
1 cup water

Spices

2 tblsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Pepper
1/4 tsp Dried Red Pepper Flakes
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Cayenne
1 tsp Cumin
1 tblsp Salt
1/2 tblsp Cornstarch to
thicken last ˝ hour

Steps

Brown meat and drain off fat. Sauté butter, garlic and onions. Add tomato paste and blend well. Once blended add ground beef and all other ingredients except cornstarch. Let simmer for 2 hours. About ˝ hour before its ready, mix a little water with Cornstarch and add to chili and cook for another ˝ hour. Make sure that you stir the chili as you add the cornstarch. Ready to Serve!!! Enjoy with fresh buttered buns and grated cheese on top.
